Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL 2025
To apply for the SSC CHSL 2025 exam, candidates must fulfill the following conditions as on 01 January 2026:
Nationality
Applicants must be one of the following:
- A citizen of India, or
- A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from select countries (like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African nations, etc.) with the intent of permanently settling in India. Note: Such candidates must possess a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification for SSC CHSL 2025

✅ Step 2: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)
- Click on ‘Register Now’ on the homepage.
- Enter personal details like name, Aadhaar number, contact info, and education details.
- Upload your passport-size photo and signature as per the size and format guidelines.
- Save your Registration ID and password for future logins.
> Note: If you’re already registered on the new portal (ssc.gov.in), skip to Step 3. The old registration from ssc.nic.in won’t work anymore.

- Use your registered credentials to log in.
