The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for the CRP PO/MT-XV recruitment process for Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) in various public sector banks for the year 2026–27. Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO 2025 Recruitment

To be eligible for the IBPS PO/MT-XV 2025 recruitment, candidates must meet the following conditions as on the cut-off dates specified:

1. Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

  • An Indian citizen, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee (who came to India before 1st January 1962), or
  • A person of Indian origin (PIO) migrated from select countries (like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya etc.) with intention of permanent settlement in India.

Note: Non-Indian citizens must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

3. Educational Qualification (as on 21.07.2025)

  • A Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Final year students are eligible only if their results are declared on or before 21.07.2025.
  • Must have a valid Marksheet/Degree Certificate at the time of registration.
  • Candidates should indicate their percentage in graduation (converted from CGPA if needed).

⚠️ Note: 59.99% will be considered less than 60%.

4. Disability Reservation – Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)

As per RPwD Act, 2016, candidates with 40% or more disability in the following categories are eligible:

  • Visual Impairment
  • Hearing Impairment
  • Locomotor Disability including cerebral palsy, dwarfism, muscular dystrophy, etc.
  • Intellectual Disabilities including autism, specific learning disability, mental illness.
  • Multiple Disabilities

Selection Process – IBPS PO/MT-XV 2025

The recruitment process for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee through IBPS follows a four-stage process:

1. Preliminary Examination (Online)

A qualifying stage that screens candidates for the Main exam.

4. Provisional Allotment

Final selection based on combined scores of Mains and Interview.

  • Prelims score is not considered for final merit.
  • Candidates are allotted to a Participating Bank as per:

    • Reservation norms
    • Availability of vacancies
