Selection Process : Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2025 – Junior Administrative Assistant (JAA) Posts
The selection process for Gauhati High Court Junior Administrative Assistant (JAA) Posts consists of three stages:
Stage I: Written Examination (OMR Based) – 120 Marks
- General English – 50 marks
- General Knowledge (including Computer Knowledge) – 30 marks
- General Aptitude – 20 marks
- Official Language (Assamese) – 20 marks (Qualifying only; must score at least 8 marks)
⛔ Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
✅ Note: Marks obtained in Assamese will not be counted in the merit list.
Stage II: Computer Skill Test – 35 Marks
- Typing Test (20 marks): Speed and accuracy using typing software
- Word Processing & Spreadsheet Proficiency (15 marks)
🧠 Candidates in the ratio of 1:5 (five times the number of vacancies per district) will be shortlisted for this stage.
Stage III: Viva-Voce – 15 Marks
- Personal interview to assess communication, confidence, and suitability for the role.
🏁 Final selection will be based on the total score out of 150 (Written + Computer + Viva).
