ICG Navik and Yantrik Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit (as on application date)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 22 Years
    • For Navik (GD), Navik (DB), and Yantrik: Candidates should be born between 01 Mar 2004 to 28 Feb 2008 (tentative).
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

Educational Qualification for ICG Navik and Yantrik

PostQualification
Navik (GD)10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (DB)10th Class passed from an education board recognized by COBSE.
Yantrik10th class passed and a Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering (duration 3 or 4 years approved by AICTE). OR 10th & 12th passed and a 2-year diploma in the above disciplines approved by AICTE.

ICG Navik and Yantrik Selection Process

The selection procedure for ICG Navik and Yantrik posts consists of 4 stages:

🔹 Stage I: Computer-Based Examination

  • Online objective-type test based on post applied.

🔹 Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Document Verification

  • Candidates who qualify Stage I are called for PFT and DV.

🔹 Stage III: Medical Examination

  • Comprehensive medical examination at designated military hospitals.

🔹 Stage IV: Final Document Verification & All India Merit List

⚠️ Clearing each stage is mandatory for final selection.
