National Fisheries Digital Platform: The National Fisheries Digital Platform (NFDP) is a transformative initiative undertaken by the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Government of India (GoI). The development of NFDP is envisioned under the ongoing Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana (PM-MKSSY), a sub-scheme of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampda Yojana (PMMSY).

The establishment of NFDP will be a watershed moment because it will provide the groundwork for evidence-based fisheries management by providing a comprehensive framework for data collection and analysis, allowing for more informed decision-making, need-based policy formulation, partnerships, and collaboration.

National Fisheries Digital Platform Eligibility Criteria

The following entities involved in the fisheries value chain shall be eligible to register on NFDP:

i. Fishers, Fish Farmers, Fish vendors, supportive workers etc.

ii. Fisheries and Aquaculture Micro/Small enterprises.

iii. Fisheries Cooperative Societies/FFPOs

iv. Proprietary/Partnership Firm engaged in Fisheries and Aquaculture-related activities.

v. Private/Public Sector Company incorporated under the Companies Act.

National Fisheries Digital Platform State Wise Registration

How to Register National Fisheries Digital Platform?

Step 1: Select New User Registration from the top menu or from the Apply for Sub-scheme Benefits under PM-MKSSY section on the Home Page.

Step 2: Click Apply for Registration button as per your Profile. Select from options: Individual or Organization.

Step 3: Enter mobile number. Click on next button.

Step 4: Enter Aadhar number. Enter Captcha. Check terms and condition box. Click Send OTP button.

Step 5: Enter OTP received on Aadhar linked mobile number. Click on the Validate button. After successful validation, the NFDP Registration form will open.

Step 6: Enter OTP received on Aadhar linked mobile number. Click on the Validate button. After successful validation, the NFDP Registration form will open.

Step 7: Fill in the complete Registration details. as per your profile: Personal information/ Company Information, Address, Occupation & Bank Details & submit.
