SSC CHSL 2025 Notification Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025, inviting online applications for recruitment to Group C posts such as Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operators (DEO) in various Ministries, Departments, Constitutional and Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals of the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL 2025

To apply for the SSC CHSL 2025 exam, candidates must fulfill the following conditions as on 01 January 2026:

Nationality

Applicants must be one of the following:

• A citizen of India, or
• A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from select countries (like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African nations, etc.) with the intent of permanently settling in India. Note: Such candidates must possess a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years (Candidates must have been born between 02 January 1999 and 01 January 2008)

For LDC, JSA, and general DEO posts: 12th pass or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in select ministries (e.g., Consumer Affairs, Culture, SSC HQ): 12th pass in Science stream with Mathematics.

✅ Step 2: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)

• Click on ‘Register Now’ on the homepage.
• Enter personal details like name, Aadhaar number, contact info, and education details.
• Upload your passport-size photo and signature as per the size and format guidelines.
• Save your Registration ID and password for future logins.

> Note: If you’re already registered on the new portal (ssc.gov.in), skip to Step 3. The old registration from ssc.nic.in won’t work anymore.

✅ Step 3: Login and Fill Application Form

• Use your registered credentials to log in.
• Click on “Apply” under the SSC CHSL 2025 exam notification.
• Fill in required details like exam center, category, and post preferences.

✅ Step 4: Upload Required Documents

• Upload a recent passport-size color photo (not older than 3 months).
• Upload scanned signature.
