The Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan Yojana, initiated by the Government of Assam, is a flagship program for the Class X passed students. The initiative will be implemented by the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC).
Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan Initiative 2025
The Government of Assam has launched the initiative “Chief Minister’s Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan” for Students who has passed Class X in 2025. The initiative aims to identify the students and supporting them financially and intellectually to promote Scientific Temper and Research Orientation.
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan Initiative
- Students must have passed Class X with with a minimum of 75% from any Board recognized by the Government.
- Students should have enrolled in Class XI at any institute of Assam with at least three subjects out of Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Statics and Computer Science.
Objective of Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan Initiative
- To identify exceptionally talented school students at the Class XI level through a standardized selection process.
- To offer appropriate exposure to the selected students, based on their areas of interest, by facilitating interactions and experiences at various reputed institutions across the country.
- To ensure proper mentoring for the students by enabling collaboration with esteemed research or technical institutions within the state.

Selection Process : Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan Initiative
The Selection Process of Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan Initiative comprises two main phases :
a) Written Test comprising MCQ,MSQ and NAT questions
b) Interview/ Group Discussion
Only the short listed students from the first phase will be called for the next phase in the
ratio of 1:2.
