Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme 2025
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
- Course Admission: Should be enrolled in a recognized institution offering higher education—UG, PG, diploma, technical, or professional courses.
- Approved Courses: Only UGC, AICTE, or government-approved programs are eligible (e.g., engineering, medical, management, polytechnic).

How to Apply for Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme 2025
1. Visit the Official Portal
Go to the official website of the scheme:

This is the central hub for all applications under the Mukhyamantri Nishchay Swayam Sahayata Bhata Yojana (MNSSBY).
2. Register as a New Applicant
- Click on “New Applicant Registration”.
- Fill in basic details: Name, mobile number, email ID, Aadhaar number, and create a password.
- Verify via OTP sent to your mobile/email.
3. Login and Select Scheme
- Use your registered credentials to log in.
- Choose “Student Credit Card Scheme” from the available options.
4. Fill the Application Form
- Enter personal details, educational background, and course information.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents:
- Aadhaar card
- Residence certificate
- Class 12 marksheet
- Admission proof
- Passport-size photo
- Bank account details
5. Submit the Application
- Review all details carefully.
- Submit the form online.
- Take a printout or screenshot of the acknowledgment for future reference.
6. Visit DRCC for Document Verification
- Within 60 days of online submission, visit your District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC).
- Carry original documents for verification.
- DRCC will process your application and forward it to the bank.
7. Loan Approval & Disbursement
- After verification, the bank will assess your application.
- Once approved, the loan amount (up to ₹4 lakh) will be disbursed directly to your institution or as per the scheme guidelines
