The Post Matric Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students belonging to the SC, ST, BC, EBC (other than Kapu), Kapu, Minority, and Differently Abled categories. The scholarship covers tuition fees, hostel expenses, and other educational costs, ensuring that students can focus on their studies without worrying about financial constraints.

Disbursal of AP Post Matric Scholarship
The disbursal of Scholarship is categorized into two schemes.
- RTF: Under this schemes, the Government of Andhra Pradesh reimburses the full tuition fee including special fees, other fees, and exam fees. The full fees will be credited to the respective college account on behalf of students.
- MTF: Under this scheme, the Government of Andhra Pradesh provides maintenance support to cover expenses such as Food and Hostel expenses. The amount are:
- For ITI Students: ₹10,000 per annum.
- For Polytechnic Students: ₹15,000 per annum.
- For Degree and Above ₹20,000 per annum.
The MTF will be credited into the respective account of the mother of the eligible student. In case of absence of the mother, the scholarship amount will be credited to account of the natural guardian of the student.
Andhra Pradesh Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria.
To be eligible for the AP Post Matric Scholarship, applicant meet the following conditions:
- The Students pursuing Polytechnic, ITI and Degree & Above leve; courses in Government/Aided/Private colleges affiliated to State Universities/Board can apply for the AP Post Matric Scholarship 2025.
- Day Scholar students, students in College Attached Hostels (CAH) and Department Attached Hostels (DAH) are eligible.
- 75% of the aggregate attendance is mandatory for the release of AP Post Matric Scholarship 2025.
- The annual income of the family should be less than or equal to Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
- The total land holding of the family to be less 10.00 acres of wet or 25.0 acres of dry or 25..0 acres both wet and dry land together.
- No member of the family should be a government employee/ pensioner. But all sanitary workers irrespective of their salary / recruitment are eligible.
- No member of the family should own a four-wheeler except taxies, tractors, Autos.
- No member of the family should be an income tax payee.
Who is In-eligible for Andhra Pradesh Post Matric Scholarship 2025?
The students under the following categories are not eligible for availing the scheme.
- Studying in Private Universities/ Deemed Universities.
- Pursing Correspondence / Distance Education Courses.
- Admitted under Management / Spot Quota
How to apply for AP Post Matric Scholarship Scheme?
The applicant must follow these steps to Apply for AP Post Metric Scholarship 2025.
For Fresh Offline Application
- The applicant can download the Post Matric Scholarship Application Form/ Jnanbhumi Scholarship Application Form from the Jnanbhumi Portal. The Application Form Download Link is provided in the Important Link Section in this Section. The Scholarship Application Form also be collected from the college.
- Fill the Scholarship Application Form and submit the signed copy of the form to the College Principal.
- The Post Metric Scholarship Application Form will be verified by the respective College Principal and the same will be submitted online through the Jnanbhumi Portal at the time of Admission.
- An SMS will be received by the student after the successful submission of Post Matric Scholarship Application Form. Student will receive An Application ID through the SMS.
- Students can access the submitted Application Form using the Application ID at the Mee Seva Centre. Student also can changes the Application Form if needed

Post Matric Scholarship – Status Check
Students can track their application status through the Jnanabhumi portal. Follow these steps:
- Visit the Jnanabhumi website.
- Log in using your credentials.
- Click on “Check Scholarship Status”.
- Enter your application number to view the current status.
