Atmanirbhar Assam 2024: The Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan is a forward-thinking initiative launched by Assam’s current chief minister. This program aims to provide financial assistance and collateral-free loans to support the launch of new entrepreneurial ventures. The Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) is specifically designed to benefit the state’s unemployed youth. Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma officially launched the second phase of the Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme on October 18, 2024. Atmanirbhar Scheme Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: To be eligible for this scheme, applicants must have a minimum qualification of passing Class 10. Candidates from the OBC, SC, and ST communities must have completed at least up to Class 10 to meet the eligibility criteria for this scheme.
Skill Qualification: Applicants should possess the necessary skills and knowledge, such as those acquired through ITI or Diploma programs, to engage in income-generating activities.
Age Limit: The applicant’s age should be between 28 years and 45 years as of 1st April 2024.
Residentship: Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.
Bank Account: The applicants should have a bank account, which has been opened before 1st April 2024.
Loan Defaults: The applicant should have not defaulted on any loan taken from Co-operative and Nationalized Bank in the past.
Government Service: Applicants should not come from families with government service holders or pensioners.
Income: Only candidates falling under the BPL category are eligible.
Family: Only one member per family is eligible for this scheme.
Employment Exchange: The applicant must have valid registration in the Employment Exchange.

> Next stage, click on “Online Apply Link” and Login.
> Enter all your personal and educational details and upload the necessary documents.
> Pay the application fee according to your category and submit the form.
> Take a printout of the acknowledgment copy.
Applicants who have already signed up for CMAAA 1.0 but are not beneficiaries of CMAAA 1.0 do not need to sign up again for CMAAA 2.0 and can use their old credentials to log in.
