Eligibility Criteria for PM USP Scholarship for College Students & University Students
To be eligible for this scholarship, the students must fulfill the following conditions:
Academic Requirements
- Must be above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in Class XII (10+2 pattern) from the respective Board of Examination.
- Must be pursuing a regular degree course (not correspondence, distance learning, or diploma).
- Must be enrolled in a recognized institution approved by AICTE or the relevant regulatory body.
Income Criteria
- Gross parental/family income should be ₹4.5 lakh per annum or less.
- Income certificate is required only for fresh applicants.
Exclusion Conditions
- Must not be availing any other scholarship, fee waiver, or reimbursement scheme (including state-run schemes).
- Students pursuing diploma courses or in distance mode are not eligible.
Institutional Requirements
- The institution must have a valid AISHE code. Students can verify this at aishe.gov.in.
- Students changing institutions can continue the scholarship if the new institution is AISHE-registered and the course remains eligible.
