Assam Self Help Groups List 2025

The Government of India provides benefits to many rural women through self-help groups. The National Rural Livelihood Mission now registers 3,58,696 self-help groups. The Ministry of Rural Development established this mission in 2011 to benefit the country’s women. This goal is dedicated to assisting rural women in being involved in financial literacy and other government decision-making policies.

Assam Self Help Groups are also supported by the Assam Government through the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme. Under this scheme, the government would provide financial assistance to about 40 lakh women who are registered with Self Help Groups in order for them to participate in Micro or Small Enterprises and generate some revenue.
